My trip to Sri Lanka wouldn’t have been a memorable one without the amazing hospitality of Sri Lankan Airlines.
Starting from Delhi Airport, where I was greeted by the courteous ground staff of Sri Lankan airlines. One thing that really impressed me was the time taken to check in my luggage. The staff was really quick, took only a minute or two!
While boarding the flight, I was given a warm welcome by the flight attendants who were as humble as the ground staff.
SriLankan Airlines business class was spacious and had enough leg room space. They offered a 15.4 inch screen with selection of 120 movies, over 50 TV channels and a number games for all age groups.
The meals served in the flight had a lot of healthy options to choose from. One can also pre-order their meals at the time of booking in case of special dietary requirements. Of course, I enjoyed the meal with one of the finest wines!
Since it was an overnight flight, I preferred catching up on some sleep over watching movies. The seats were so comfortable that I dozed off and slept like a baby as soon as I finished my meal. 😛
My overall travel experience with the airlines was pleasant. No doubt, Sri Lankan Airlines offers the best service in terms of comfort, safety and punctuality.

The airlines has bagged 71 awards from prestigious aviation research agencies and travel magazines across the globe. They recently got ‘Best Airline in South Asia – Top Travel Awards 2017’ award. Indeed, they very well deserve the accolades.
