Snow White – A Disney Princess

“Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Who Is the Fairest of Them All?”
This line instantly takes us back to our childhood days, reminds the story of ‘Snow White and the seven dwarfs’.

This post is about costume/story styling given to us for our college submissions.
Snow white was the only Disney Princess, whose clothes I never liked.

The story line was given an Oriental yet a modern background. Pastel Colors are used for Snow White, to show her innocence. While her stepmother was given dark colors along with fur, to bring out her authoritative and cruel nature. Chopsticks are symbolic of her evil side.

Both make- up and hair, are done taking cues from Chinese style.
Finally, recreating a new look for Snow White and her stepmother was challenging yet very exciting task.

Do leave a comment, if you like it.
Any suggestions that could have improved my shoot, will also be appreciated. 🙂
