7 benefits of using Turmeric Powder on skin :- 

1.Acne Treatment

Turmeric, is an excellent golden spice which is effective in fighting acne due to its anti- bacterial properties. Being an anti- inflammatory, it also helps in taking down the redness and swelling of the blemish.

Take 1 tsp of turmeric and 3 tbsp of milk – along with 2 tbsp of flour and a few drops of honey. Mix it well and apply a thin layer of this mixture on your face and rinse after 20 minutes.

2. Cures Stretch Marks

Turmeric has the power to lighten stretch marks. It penetrates and improve the function of the skin membrane cells, which will help prevent and treat stretch marks.

Apply Turmeric with curd, leave the mixture for 20 minutes before rinsing off.

3. Treats Psoriasis

The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory qualities of turmeric may help your psoriasis by controlling flares and other symptoms.

Take half a tsp of turmeric powder and slowly add water to it. Stir it, till it becomes a paste. Apply a thin layer of this mixture to the psoriasis lesions. Cover your face with a breathable fabric and leave it on overnight. Remove it the next morning and rinse your skin with warm water.

Turmeric helps in restoring natural glow. It also helps in removing skin tan.

Prepare a paste by mixing a pinch of turmeric, lemon juice and raw milk. Apply the mixture properly all over the affected area and wait till it dries. Wash it off with cold water.

5. Soothes Burns

Turmeric is known for its soothing properties. Mix some milk or cooling curd with a pinch of turmeric and apply it on the affected area. Let the mixture dry and then wash off gently.

6. Exfoliation

Turmeric is a great natural exfoliator and helps in removing dead skin cells. Mix a tablespoon of turmeric with a tablespoon of water and apple cider vinegar (or rose water). Massage the mixture into the problem areas gently. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse well.

7. Prevents Ageing

Turmeric can prevent the formation of wrinkles and melanin as it contains curcuminoid pigments which help the body in synthesizing antioxidants. These antioxidants slow down the signs of ageing like dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles.

Mix half tsp with one tsp of honey. Apply the mixture on the face, leave it for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.
